'Bears go Tin Mining'
Author, Dale Reardon will be coming to Geevor and bringing the stars of his of new children's book series 'The Bears of Porthors'. Including his most senior cast member, Morwenna who is 99 years young.
This will be a FREE EVENT and will include storytelling and activities for children young and old. Dale will be introducing the bears to visitors at 11.30 and 1.30 on the day. Bring your own teddy along too!
No site admission required. The event will be held in the Gilbert Room near Geevor's reception.

Dale and Ruth will be selling Bears, prints & Books at Porthleven Harbour Market every Tuesday & Thursday and most Sundays from 10th of April to the end of October 2012. This is our regular selling place and home of the Bears, we can be found on the Green of the Harbour Head.
The Bears on Location Team can be seen at many events throughout the year where you will be able to purchase all of our great pictures, lovable Russ Teddy Bears, Our range of artist bears, The Bears of Porthors Books, plus lots more.
You can meet our star Bears Edwin, Edgar, Alfie, Morwenna, Daisy May, Hetty and Giles. The Tat's may make an appearance too.
